Here’s yet another heartwarming example of Robery Downey Jr being a real life superhero!
If you have a minute, please share this story because it’s one that really resonates in a world where the news is often negative and harsh.
“When folks have a bad day, ‘Iron Man’ can swoop in and save the day — not by using repulsor technology (copyright Stark Industries), but with just a simple “What’s up? Tell me everything” post on Twitter.
Aidan Ellis was having a bad Wednesday. Apparently, the boy was pushed into a house. With her son suffering a swollen cheek, Kathy Ellis sent a tweet to “Iron Man” movie star Robert Downey Jr. in hopes of brightening Aidan’s day.
“@RobertDowneyJr It would make my son Aidan’s day if you could re tweet ‘hi.’ As you can see he has had a rough day,” Kathy Ellis posted on Twitter.
Several hours later, Downey replied!
“@trips034me Aidan, what’s up? Tell me everything,” Downey posted.
Aidan opened up and kept the interaction going.
“@RobertDowneyJr I was racing with my bro. I was slowing down and he pushed me into the house. Not on purpose. You are the best actor,” Aiden replied.
Downey replied with a remedy and comfort.
“@trips034me I’d say that’s gonna leave a mark but it already did! Ice is our friend @ this point. Nice to meet u, in a soc media sorta way..” Downey wrote.
The conversation ended when Aidan told Downey that not just his day, but his year were made by the simple and awesome interaction.
“@RobertDowneyJr you made my day and my year. Thanks for talking to me.”
That’s just another way to save the day, Iron Man!
