“Cheadle has seen plenty of action alongside Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, but this will be the first time he comes into contact with any of the other members of The Avengers. War Machine/Iron Patriot would make a nice addition to the line-up which also sees Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson joining the team as brother/sister duo Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. With no more solo Iron Man adventures lined up (Gwyneth Paltrow has said that a fourth film in the series is unlikely), this might be the only way we see Rhodes pop up in the Marvel universe. That could mean he’s prime to be a pivotal character death to add some weight, but we’ll have to see what happens when The Avengers: Age of Ultron arrives May 1st, 2015.”
