After the wrap of Iron Man 3, Robert Downey Jr. gave some very special gifts to members of the production crew. He also managed to make a 5 year old very happy.
What Robert gave out was a solid gold Iron Man head with diamond encrusted eyes! Talk about a cool Iron Man collectible!
Upon meeting a 5 year old fan, Downey, Jr. once again showed his generosity by giving him a collectible nobody else has outside of those involved in making the film.
“Downey, Jr. signed [the child’s] Iron Man 3 mask, but what happened next was even more surprising. Downey, Jr. gave this five year old fan a box that sort of looked like a box for a sleeve of golf balls.
However, one of Robert Downey, Jr.’s bodyguards told the father that what was in the box was real so to be careful about his son playing with it. When the father looked at the box, it was marked “Stark Industries Jeweled Materials.” Inside the box was a solid-gold and diamond Iron Man helmet head.”
