Carolina Flyboard is the only place in Eastern North Carolina where you can strap on a Zapata flyboard and fly above the water.

So what is a flyboard? A flyboard is a personal jetpack that straps to your feet and uses the water pressure created by a personal water craft redirected through a 55-foot hose to give you the rush over the water.
“Learning the basics of flyboarding is easy and with the proper training by one of Carolina Fly Board’s six Zapata-certified instructors–you will be flying through the air and the water in about 10 minutes or less,” says founder Matthew Neal.
Carolina Flyboard has two rental locations at Wrightsville and North Topsail beaches and six Zapata-certified Instructors.
During your flying lesson you will learn:
- Proper steering controls
- Taxi position
- Flying position
- Recovery
- Landing
