An Italian firm recently unveiled its version of the Iron Man exoskeleton, check it out in the post below!
“Italian scientists have built an Iron-Man-like wearable exoskeleton that allows its wearer to comfortably lift 50kg in each hand – and they claim it is the most sophisticated robot of its kind to date.
They call it the “body extender”, and it has been manufactured by the Perceptual Robotics Laboratory (Percro) at Pisa’s Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. Stark Industries can’t be close behind.
Asked about the applications of the new machine, its creator said that its flexibility would allow it to be used to develop complex industry such as jet engines, or to help clear rubble after an earthquake. It may also be put to military use. They made no comment as to whether it might help fight crime on the streets of Detroit.
Take a look at the suit in action here:”
What do you think? We say nice start and a darn good effort in the right direction!
