“QWERTY is fine and all, but after a 142-year reign, it may be time for GEEKY to inherit the keyboard throne.
A company called GeekKeys offers a selection of plastic and metal key caps inspired by comic books, movies, television video games and more, from The Avengers to Star Wars to Big Hero 6.
You can get caps for row R4 featuring the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra logos, Baymax (in two versions), Thor’s hammer, Iron Man’s arc reactor, Pikachu, Wolverine’s claws and Captain America’s shield (although it seems like they missed out by not making that the caps lock). There are also aluminum backspace keys featuring the Stark Industries logo and Wolverine’s claws, and, best of all, raised keys with Iron Man’s helmet in a variety of colors.
The plastic keycaps are the least expensive, starting in the $3 range, but the metal ones go as high as $45. Check out a selection of the comics-themed offerings below, and see the full inventory at GeekKeys.”
