It’s hard to believe that’s real- what an insane build!
If anyone tells you you can’t do something, then point them to this Hulkbuster cosplay from New York Comic Con!
“This is the hilarious moment a giant 9ft Iron Man swaggered through the room before trying his luck with two stunned women.
The footage, filmed last weekend at New York Comic Con, showed the monstrous character saunter through the mob with his mighty metal arms swinging by his side.
Stunned fans whipped out their smart phones to film the impressive spectacle, watching open-mouthed as the 9ft 6 mountain stole the show.
The statuesque costume is 6ft 6 ins wide and takes creator, Thomas DePetrillo, 20 minutes to fully suit up as the mighty armoured superhero.
The costume is 44 inches thick and took DePetrillo 1600 hours over a period of two years to build.
In a YouTube video, DePetrillo explained the painstaking process and the dedication he poured into his ambitious project.
He said: “The project of the hour is a Hulkbuster suit, which is a particular suit of armor that Iron Man wears in the “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.”
“This is the single largest, most domineering thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
The legs if the costume are built on stilts to give the towering robot his impressive height.
DePetrillo continued: “I do this because I love it.
“For brief windows of time you get to be the star of the show, and when I go to a place like New York Comic Con, fro a brief window, for just a few days, I get to be a star, too.””
