Everyone loves the wit and wisdom of the Iron Man film franchise’s portrayal of JARVIS. But could something like that become reality?
We do have the JARVIS iPhone app, but what about something even more impressive?
“A handful of developers are dedicating their time to creating an operating system framework that goes beyond Apple’s Siri to provide a more intelligent, and more interactive artificial intelligence. They’ve dubbed it Jarvis.
The startup was co-founded by Chiragh Dewan and Himanshu Vaishnav—Jarvis is their brainchild. Dewan has taken on the role of CFO of the nascent startup, while Vaishnav fills the role of CTO. Both of them also act as project managers to direct and coordinate effort so that everyone participating is developing toward a common goal.
Watching the 0.1 video—an 18-minute video available on YouTube—the platform is a bit rough around the edges. But, when you consider that this platform has been created from nothing in a matter of months, by a handful of developers with virtually no funding, and you keep in mind that this is a very early stage of development, the version 0.1 video provides a very exciting glimpse at what’s possible.”
