Not sure I like the butterfly effect on the armor, but it could be cool.

You can count on Tony Stark to raise the bar – again!

No Marvel movie is complete without Tony Stark showing off a new Iron Man suit (including a film that’s not his, like Spider-Man Homecoming, for example) and this time, he might have just outdone himself.

Almost a decade into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), we have seen Tony changed his Iron Man suit as often as we change our underwear, and with Avengers: Infinity War and a showdown with the overly-powerful Thanos coming up, you bet that he needs all the tech he can get.

And thanks to a leak, we got an unofficial look at his brand new, super duper canggih armour.

On Monday, a Twitter user by the name of Okoya posted up a couple of what appears to be a promo artwork for Avengers: Infinity War, and by the looks of it, the new suit is going to be the most advanced tech Tony has ever created:

Nice suit you got there, Tony!

The new armour looks noticeably different compared to the other suits we have seen to date.

The new armour retained the sleek look from the Mark 45 armour Tony wore in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but the most interesting bit about the suit — rumoured to be the Mark 51 — is that it seems to have the ability to ‘shape shift’, which allows it to create some sort of blaster or energy weapon.

His new suit also boasts a pair of wing flaps at the back, probably to house a more powerful thruster pack.

Don’t mess with this monster.

Diehard comic book fans were quick to point out that the new suit is based on the Model Prime armour from the most recent Invincible Iron Man comics.

What is this Model Prime Armour thing?

Well, if you’re not a comic book fan, the Model Prime Armour is probably the most canggih piece of Iron Man suit ever made.

In the Invincible Iron Man comics, Tony was inspired to build the armour after a 15-year-old MIT student by the name of Riri Williams (who eventually became the next Iron Man) was able to reverse engineer some of his old suit designs and posted it up on the Internet.

Feeling that he was ‘outsmarted’ by a teenager and that he has fallen behind the technological curve, he’s decided to lock himself in the lab and start working on the next big thing: the Armour Model 51.

Revenge of the fallen.

The Model Prime Armour uses nanotech technology which enables it to shape-shift and reconfigure into any form or colour Tony desires in just a blink of an eye, allowing him to create different types of weaponry on the spot.

The new armour also ‘stores’ all of Tony’s previous line up of Iron Man suits in its memory, enabling him to call upon an armour for any type of situation.

In layman’s term, if Tony wants a Hulkbuster suit, he’ll get a Hulkbuster suit on the fly:

Like his own personal wardrobe.

The Model Prime Armour is directly linked to Tony’s brain synapses, so it can respond to his commands at the speed of thought.

Not only that, the suit can also reach the speed of sound right from lift-off, and additional thrusters can be formed to reach higher speeds within seconds.

Bye, see ya!

When not in use, the whole suit would collapse into a bracelet Tony wears on his wrist. That is arguably the coolest accesory ever made, right?

We’re not sure if the suit in Avengers: Infinity War would retain all the cool features from the Model Prime Armour, but we really do hope so. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to open in Malaysian cinemas on 26 April 2018.”
